Senior Adult Activities

Arvada Covenant Church serves the growing group of people known as "Seniors" and desires to minister to them through various programs and activities. Pastor Bill Merritt is called by the church to be Pastor of Congregational Care and ministers to seniors as a part of that call.




Bible Study

  • Sunday School - Voyagers Class
  • Wednesday Night Oasis
  • Women - Community Bible Study, Wednesdays at 9:30 am at Arvada Covenant.


Social Times and Service Projects

  • Forever Young
    Meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of the month in the Family Life Center at noon. There is a catered meal at 12:00 noon for only $5. A short program follows the meal.
  • Annual Christmas Catered Luncheon is a special festive event. It's a great way to get acquainted and a special way to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
  • Women - Missions Work Day
    Meet every 4th Wednesday in Room 109, from 9:00 am to noon.
  • Men - Get 'Er Done Crew work projects
    to take place as announced at church and Covenant Heights.
  • Fleets and Ships
    Get assigned to a small group (or ship) for monthly social events.

A great time to connect with other senior adults, have some great food, take in some great music and encouragement from God's Word.
