The Deacons are a group of men and women who are appointed by the Council to care for and serve the congregation of Arvada Covenant Church. The Deacons serve and lead in a variety of ways.

The theme verse for the Deacons is Mark 12: 30, 31, "And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength."" . . . you shall love your neighbor as yourself..." we shall love and care for our congregation as Jesus Christ would through all phases of life, and welcome new members into the life of our congregation, encouraging growth in their personal life with Christ.

Deacons Deacons commit to serve for one year at a time. There are normally 22-26 Deacons on the team. Here are some of the things they do:

Prayer Ministry
Welcome Team (greeters, ushers, Welcome Desk hosts, Coffee hosts)

Arvada Covenant Church's (ACC) Benevolent Fund (BF) is a resource and ministry to anyone in our congregation, or in the Arvada and Wheat Ridge area, who has a financial need (such as help with rent or utilities, medical expenses, food and other items) that cannot be met through their own support system and/or finances. Usually individuals can only receive assistance every six months. The Arvada Covenant Food Pantry maintains a supply of basic non perishable food items through the donations of its congregants and others who donate as well as purchasing by the church's Benevolent Fund.
