2012 Spring Event

Royal Family Kids' Camp With Founder, Wayne Tesch

Wayne Tesch, the founder of Royal Family Kids' Camp, will be the speaker at the Spring Missions Outreach Commission Spring Event. Royal Family began in 1985 and has grown so that today there are 175 camps spread throughout 33 states and 9 countries. There have been over 8,000 volunteers and 27 church denominations involved in Royal Family over the years.

It should be an exciting week. Please help us join in the celebration. The activities for the week are as follows:

Saturday, May 5th (8:30 - 11:00) - Complimentary breakfast with Wayne Tesch in the Family Life Center of Arvada Covenant Church. This is an open invitation to current and potential camp guides and staff. To find out more information or make reservations to attend, please contact the church office at 303-422-1235.

Sunday May 6th - Wayne Tesch will be speaking at both Sunday morning services. There will be love offering to purchase Bibles for the campers. Each Bible will cost $10 and you can write a personal message to a camper in the Bible you purchase.

Wednesday, June 20th - Ride up to Covenant Heights to visit the Royal Family Kids Camp and be a part of the birthday party celebration. We will leave at 1:00 from the church and ride on a church van or car pool. We will return in the evening. Recommended contribution is $6.00 per person.
