Few aspects of the discussion of end times has generated more debate than the issue of the millennium - that 1,000 year period John speaks of in Revelation 20. Is it a literal time period, or an expression for a really long time? When does it begin, and what will accompany it's end? Are we in the millennium now, or does it follow the return of Christ at some point in the future? These and other questions will be explored in our time together.

Paul refers to those who fallen "asleep" in Christ throughout his letters. Is he speaking literally, or is the sleep merely a metaphor for death? Some believe that when we die, we go immediately to be with the Lord, while others believe Paul is speaking literally, and that our awakening comes at the resurrection at the end of history.
