Get A Grip
On Your Talent
April 1, 2007 • Pastor John Martz
God has given you some pretty awesome gifts and abilities. What a shame, then, when we hoard them and don't use them to bless others. Talents are given to be invested. Even as the disciples were to tell the owner of the donkey Jesus would ride, "The Master has need of it," so too does the Master have need of the special abilities he has placed in my life.

On Your Marriage
March 25, 2007 • Pastor John Martz
One of the best things in this life is a good marriage; one of the worst things is a bad marriage. Good marriages don't happen by accident, they take a constant investment of care and communication. Like fine tuned racing machines, they break down if they go without attention for very long. The investment you put into your marriage each day will reap incredible fruit for you, your family, your community, and your world.

On Your Money
March 18, 2007 • Pastor Greg Coates
Money is the source of more sleepless nights, marital fights, and hopeless plights than anything else in America today. How do we get a grip on our money?
- Save more and spend less (Proverbs 6:6-9)
- Work hard (Proverbs 12:11)
- Get out of debt (Proverbs 22:7)
- Worship something(one) else (Proverbs 23:4)

On Your Tongue
March 11, 2007 • Pastor John Martz
The power of the tongue is remarkable – the same instrument can sting like a viper or heal like a balm. We have a choice as to how we use this tool, and we will be held accountable for the way in which we use it. Think of what our world would be like if all decided to:
- Stop using your tongue to hurt
- Start using your tongue to heal

On Your Time
March 4, 2007 • Pastor John Martz
Time is a fixed asset and one of the most precious commodities we have, especially in the modern world. Yet it is amazing how poorly we steward this non-renewable resource. A simple plan to get a grip on our time includes three important questions:
- Why before What
- What before How
- How before When

On Your Anger
February 25, 2007 • Pastor John Martz
All sorts of illegitimate behavior is justified in our culture with the phrase, "Well that's just the way I'm wired." Different people have different temperaments – some more volatile than others – but those differences are never a justification for inappropriate outbursts. God wouldn't call us to control our passions if He wasn't willing to help us along the way. Remember the promise of Scripture: "I can all things through Christ who strengthens me."
