Connection and Collaboration
There are many ways for you to get involved with Women Ministries at Arvada Covenant Church. Whether you are looking for a new area to serve in the church, looking to develop new friendships, or are curious about the role of Women Ministries at Arvada Covenant Church, this is the webpage for you! Please take a moment to look at all events and areas in our ministry where you can serve. Also, please check the Upcoming Events page for a calendar of our events this year. Contact Contact Kinsey Ringenberg or Linda Hagen if you have any interest in being a part of the following ministry opportunities:
This area of service is directed by Barb Hardison. It is a great way to plug in and be a part of planning our activities for the year. Some upcoming activities include Breakfast Club, Tour of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, a special Christmas season outing, craft night, and the Walk for Alternatives Pregnancy Center.
This major event is a tradition at Arvada Covenant Church. It is a time to prepare our hearts for the Christmas season while listening to speakers and Christmas carols. It is a great event to bring neighbors, friends, and family. It is our hope that you will enjoy the brunch, meet new people, and connect to ministries in Arvada Covenant Church. We are in need of people to help us with decorations and hospitality.
Join us for fellowship the first Saturday of every month. We meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Indian Tree Golf Course restaurant. We currently have one group meeting but would like to expand with an interested leader.
To make our events possible, we need publicity and fliers to distribute. Julie Anderson coordinates this area of ministry and is always looking for new ideas and talent.
Our events have that special touch thanks to our Decorations Coordinators, Jessica Branaugh and Kiesa Powell. Women feel cared for and loved when they experience that extra attention to detail. Many hands make light work with light commitment! A decorations team is needed for Fall into Fellowship in October, Advent Brunch in December and Retreat in March.
If you love numbers, this is the place for you. Sherry Nagel is the coordinator for this position and would love to work with anyone who has an interest in this area.
If you have an interest in catering or event planning this is a great area for you! Merry Whyman coordinates this area of the ministry and has years of experience. There is a need for women to partner with Merry to help plan our events. Many hands make light work!
Special Events / General
If you would like to be a part of Women Ministries but don't have enough hours in the day to volunteer, this area is for you! Our team needs women who have an hour they can give on an occasional basis. There are needs to run the Women Ministries Table at the Family Life Center (gym) between services and help with the occasional event. We would love to have your name so we know who to call for various needs.
Our decorations, fundraising, and hospitality teams would love to know if you are interested in helping with this event.
