Back to School Sundae marked the end of summer and the beginning of a new season at Arvada Covenant.
Kids and students joined the rest of the congregation for an intergenerational Worship Gathering, where Pastor Nicki preached and Pastor Jodi led a back-to-school trivia game that put all generations to the test.
After worship, the morning continued with ice cream in the lobby and prayer stations in the Fireside Room.
Parents and caregivers also had a chance to look ahead to the fall during separate ACC Kids and Student Ministry meetings. Leaders shared what families can expect this year, important dates and information, and ways kids and students can connect and grow throughout the coming months.
As a new school year begins, we’re grateful for the opportunity to support and pray for the kids, students, families, teachers, and school staff in our church and community.
