Fam Jam 2026: Day Four
Fam Jam wrapped up Thursday night with Jesus' parable of the wise and foolish builders from Matthew 7:24-27. Throughout the week, we explored water stories from the Bible and discovered who God is through each one. Our final lesson challenged us to think about what it means to build our lives on Jesus by not only hearing His words, but also obeying them. Together, we discussed why following Jesus matters and how obedience helps us stand firm when life's storms come.
Families used Legos to build houses on foundations of sand and rocks, then tested how they would withstand a flood. Outside, teams worked together to build towers using marshmallows and noodles, discovering the importance of a strong foundation. Kids also created wooden house-shaped plaques featuring Joshua 24:15b, adding their thumbprints as a reminder of their commitment to follow God. We concluded the week by celebrating those who memorized Proverbs 3:5-8 and recited it for a prize.
