Day three of Fam Jam brought us to one of the most memorable water stories in the Bible: Jesus calming the storm in Mark 4:35-41. As the disciples battled wind and waves, Jesus slept peacefully in the boat. When fear overwhelmed the disciples, Jesus spoke to the storm, and everything became calm. Our key takeaway for the evening: Jesus is powerful, and we can trust Him when we're afraid.
Families brought the story to life by reenacting the scene, with Scott Brown enthusiastically taking on the role of Jesus sleeping in the boat. The evening included building and testing boats, an over-under relay race using wet sponges, and creating calming sensory bottles filled with water, oil, food coloring, and glitter.
