Fam Jam 2026: Day Two

Fam Jam continued Tuesday night as families dove into the story of Naaman from 2 Kings 5:1-15. Naaman was a powerful military commander who suffered from leprosy, but God chose to heal him through an unexpected act of obedience. After being told by the prophet Elisha to wash in the Jordan River seven times, Naaman reluctantly followed God's instructions and was completely healed.
Families experienced the story firsthand through a hands-on science experiment. Each participant painted sponge people with "leprosy spots" and then dunked them in muddy water to see how long it would take for the spots to disappear, helping illustrate Naaman's healing. The evening also included a relay race searching for ducks hidden in shaving cream, a door hanger craft, worship, and fun! We were reminded that God's ways may not always be what we expect, but we can trust Him and obey Him.
