The Feast 2025

On Labor Day Weekend, a number of our church family members traveled to Golden Bell Camp and Conference Center in Divide, Colorado, for the second Feast all-church retreat. Our guest speaker was Rev. Dr. Bret Widman, the director of Contextual and Lifelong Learning and Associate Professor of Ministry at North Park University.

Day One

Day one was so much fun! We played bingo, bunco, and board games, and had some great snacks! 

Day Two

Day two of The Feast was jam-packed. In the morning, we connected over coffee and breakfast, learned from Bret, and spent time in worship and with small groups. In the afternoon, we ziplined, hiked with Matt, went swimming, played miniature golf, and lawn games, or took naps in the sun! The evening's worship and teaching time was capped by a campfire and roasted marshmallows. Be sure to ask Pastor Jodi about her nontraditional s'mores recipe the next time you see her!

Day Three

On our final morning, we concluded our weekend with a crazy "Rock, Paper, Scissors" tournament, more teaching from Bret, worship, and communion.  What a wonderful weekend of connection, fun, and spiritual growth!
